Could I have pelvic inflammatory disease?

I'm 22 and my husband is 23. He is the only guy I have ever had sex with and I'm the only person he has been with too. I have had a lot of recurrent bacterial vaginosis over the past couple of years. But lately I've been having some pelvic pain that comes and goes and it also hurts during intercourse, we have been trying to have a baby for 6 months now and nothing is happening, so I'm a little worried I could have PID due to all my bacterial vaginosis infections I've had. But my cycles are always regular starting every 28-30 days. What do you think is reason I'm not getting pregnant?

You really need to talk to your doctor about these symptoms. It could be any number of things or it could be nothing at all to worry about but the only way to find out is to have some tests done. It can take up to a year to conceive so don't lose hope. Keep trying and keep the faith. Call your doctor if your symptoms persist though. Good luck. I am glad to see there are still people out there that are faithful and choose not to sleep around.

  1. Firstly 6 months is the AVERAGE, so really you haven't been trying long.

If you have concerns talk to a doctor, I guess it is possible you have PID, though unless one of you is lying it would be rare. Heck I don't know you so what do I know.
