Im ten wks pregnant and have bacterial vaginosis. Is there any natural cures?

Ive had allergic reactions to flagyl and bactrum and the doc gave me a RX for clyndamyicin. but im really afraid to take it considering all the reactions Ive had to meds. I need to do something b/c its causing some bleeding and I don't want to harm the baby. I need help

Most herbs are not recommended during pregnancy. But you could try Garlic:

Often called 'nature's antibiotic', this sure cure for a number of ailments, is effective against bacterial vaginosis too, because of its strong antibacterial properties. It can be taken both orally or vaginally. A peeled whole garlic clove, wrapped in gauze, can be inserted into the vagina. It can also be used as douches or in suppository form. This herb also prevents bacterial vaginosis recurrence.

Good Luck!

how long of a course did s/he prescribe and what is your typical reaction? You might want to concede on this one only because you want that infection GONE asap and it's very risky for your baby to be born if there is any trace of this bacteria. I would instead look up some natural cures for some of the side effects that are caused when you take antibiotics. Probiotics for one. I say this as someone who is very pro alternative medicine, but this is a sensitive issue.
