Men & treating bacterial vaginosis?

I have BV & I was on medication. It went away but I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend & the next day it was back. I’m going to get a pap tomorrow but what kind of treatment does he have to go through if he’s the host?

Recurrent ‘Bacterial Vaginosis can be very traumatic to live with. Sometimes after taking all the creams, potions and antibiotics the problem still comes back time after time. After suffering with recurrent bacterial vaginosis (BV) for over 3 years I eventually found a totally natural cure. The claim was to be clear of bacterial vaginosis in 3 days. Imagine my delight when I found the claims to be totally true. If you have bacterial vaginosis for the first time or have had recurrent bacterial vaginosis for some time this is something you really should consider looking at Bacterial Vaginosis Help – The 3 Day Cure

You both are going to keep passing it back and forth until you have each finished an entire course of antibiotics and taken correctly. You MUST abstain from sex at this time and at least a week after the course of antibiotics to make sure the BV is gone.

    FYI People.
“There are a variety of causes for bacterial vaginosis. Thongs are notorious for causing bacterial vaginosis due to the cloth rubbing against the anus and vagina. Cases of bacterial vaginosis are more likely to occur in sexually active women between the ages of 15 and 44, especially after contact with a new partner. Condoms may provide some protection and there is no evidence that spermicide increases BV risk. Although BV can be associated with sexual activity, there is no clear evidence of sexual transmission.[7] It is possible for virgins to get infected with bacterial vaginosis. Rather, BV is a disordering of the chemical and biological balance of the normal flora.”

Bacteria vaganosis can be caused by several factors, like wet underwear, hormonal imbalances or unprotected sex. But it is likely #3 unprotected sex and you guys are passing it back and forth. When you go to the doctor most likely they always prescribe Flagyl(brand name) usually given 2-3 times daily for 1-2 weeks depending on how bad. Your boyfriend will need some too. So hopefully the Md will prescribe 14days worth. Or bring him along. And BV is the least of your worries nowadays. You should use condoms girl, these men will burn the hell through your a$$.
