Bacterial Vaginosis?

Hello, what is the best threatment for chronic Bacterial vaginosis ? I just started using Clindesse but I am afraid what if it turns to yeast infection .
Do you have any ideas?

it probably will give you yeast, but yeast is better than BV any day. you can treat the yeast with over-the-counter monistat, so no big deal. for chronic bv, you need to talk to your doctor about all the things that cause bv to see if you may be contributing. douches, perfumed soaps, body washes, sprays, perfumed pads, any anal play during sex that may track bacteria from rectum to vagina, wiping from back to front, bubble baths, lots of sex, your period../. the list goes on. there is a product called rephresh that restores vaginal ph to normal and helps prevent bv from occuring. you can use it every 3 days to maintain vaginal ph in the normal range, it is a change in ph that is responsible for the overgrowth of bacteria in bv

Recurrent ‘Bacterial Vaginosis can be very traumatic to live with. Sometimes after taking all the creams, potions and antibiotics the problem still comes back time after time. After suffering with recurrent bacterial vaginosis (BV) for nearly 3 years I eventually found a totally natural cure. The claim was to be clear of bacterial vaginosis in 3 days. Imagine my delight when I found the claims to be totally true. If you have bacterial vaginosis for the first time or have had recurrent bacterial vaginosis for some time this is something you really should consider looking at Bacterial Vaginosis Help – The 3 Day Cure

Isn't that what it already is?

Best idea in world would be to go to your docs

Just go to the doctor and they'll give you a prescription to take care of it.

If you've already been diagnosed with it, depending on the severity, your doctor would have prescribed something. If you get a yeast infection, they will prescribe something for that as well. Just check with the doctor.

I actually talked to a doctor about this a few weeks ago. Try treating yourself and your partner with the antibiotic, then if it continues. there's some kind of douche the doctor can prescribe. I don't know much about it. I'm not sure if it needs to be used more than once or anything

did a doctor prescribe this? last time i checked metrogel was the treatment of choice but i've been out of that dept for a while. clindamycin could cause a yeast infection but it depends on the individual. you can fix that by getting over the counter monistat or i actually prefer the other (can't remember the name). irregardles…..what you are taking is an oral agent and i think you would do better with a topical agent…..just my opinion…..i would call the prescriber and if you can't reach them go to an er or doc in the box…good luck and don't go all weekend miserable with that!!
