I have been having some pain during intercourse. The information I have researched identifies it as secondary (arising after a pain free period) superficial entrance (only upon entrance into the vagina) pain. you might be tensing up inside cause you know what is going to happen when it goes in. try to relax and think about something else. i had a similar problem a few months ago and for no reason at all it hurt like pins and needles and really tight when he was inside of me. i put it off for a week or so and then it gradually got better. just work around intercourse for now and take your time. i hope this helps!

i have used them in previous pregnancies and miscarried 2 when using them and had 3 m/c when not.
i used them as i get recurrent bacterial vaginosis and sperm seems to set it off

It’s wise to avoid potential contact with any chemicals during pregnancy.

Spermicides are chemicals that immobilise and kill sperm, so they aren’t exactly biologically friendly.

They also cause disruption to the normal balance of bacteria and PH levels within the vagina, and during pregnancy this can more readily result in the introduction of infection.

A pregnant cervix is also a lot more sensitive than normal and can easily be irritated by the chemicals, and an irritated cervix is not what you need when you’re pregnant, as the cervix needs to remain closed and as trauma free as possible to ensure the progress of the pregnancy.

This is not to say they WILL cause a problem, but it’s best to avoid the possibility.

so today when i was using the bathroom i noticed a brownish discharge with blood spotting in it.

I also have 10 days before my period.

I’ve been getting bacterial vaginosis every since I had my daughter 4 years ago. I’ve also been on Ortho Evra for the past 4 years. Has anyone else had this problem? And where can I buy acidophilus pills? Do they really help prevent BV?

The acidophillous can be of help in trying to prevent BV but they do a better job at trying to prevent yeast infections.
