i was tested for sti's and came up negative, but that i had an infection (went to planned parenthood, called but havent gone in yet, so im not sure of the infection 100%) is doxycycline used to treat BV? please no rude comments

I believe it might be possible, but not all anti-biotics work for any bacteria infection.
