I am 9 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with Bacterial Vaginosis on Tuesday. I had an ultrasound Monday because of the spotting and we saw a healthy baby with a heartbeat.

Can none of these people read? Obviously you said you were diagnosed, so obviously you went to the Doctor.. Anyways, dont worry about it. I remember with my first I had it and got treated during the second trimester and everything was fine. My son was fine also. If the doctor is not worried, then you shouldnt either. I know its easier said than done, but it wont cause any harm to the baby. BV is common during pregnancy. I never spotted, while I had that, but spotting during pregnancy also can be normal., because I did spot at 7 weeks with my 3rd son and all was fine.

both vaginosis and acne are usually preventable by maintaining hygeine….but yes, many medications cause yeast infections although those are most commonly antibiotics. Yeast infections can be caused by many things, some people are also just more prone to getting them. But I do recommend showering daily, it is good for your health and will actually help you concentrate better….

I have been diagnosed as having bacterial vaginosis. My period is almost two weeks late now. I KNOW that I’m NOT pregnant because I have been practicing abstinence for the past year. I have had it at least 6 times this year alone. I keep going and getting treated, but it comes back in a couple of months. Could my bf have it and keeps giving it back to me? He doesn't show any symptoms of having it though.
So is this actually an STD? I have never cheated on him. I have been to the doctor several times since we have been together to get tested. I am clean except for this. Do guys have symptoms at all?

I had some swabs done for an STD because i had yellow discharge(gross i know) i had a lot of it, and the tests came back negative for an STD but positive for BV. Is the yellow discharge caused by BV? And does it damage any of the female parts(baby making parts)? Serious answers please!
