is this transferable? what was the cause for having this?
I hear yogurt is excellent for treating BV. You can actually dilute it with water and use it as a douche. Plain yogurt of course! It's not transferable from partner to partner. Some causes could be wearing tight clothing, taking bubble baths, not wiping from front to back, excessive douching or just overall poor hygiene. OTC acidophilus tablets work well also.
Recurrent ‘Bacterial Vaginosis’ can be very traumatic to live with. Sometimes after taking all the creams, potions and antibiotics the problem still comes back time after time. After suffering with recurrent bacterial vaginosis (BV) for nearly 3 years I eventually found a totally natural cure. The claim was to be clear of bacterial vaginosis in 3 days. Imagine my delight when I found the claims to be totally true. If you have bacterial vaginosis for the first time or have had recurrent bacterial vaginosis for some time this is something you really should consider looking at Bacterial Vaginosis Help – The 3 Day Cure

it can be a bitch, my girlfriend had it forever. it doesnt do anything to guys. she got it from taking an antibiotic, but there are other causes as well. if youve taken an antibiotic recently, it kills off the "good bacteria" that normally live there and take up space and resources so bad bacteria cant grow there. when the good bacteria are killed by an antibiotic, the bad bacteria can then grow more easily, which causes BV. she had to take several drugs and then finally got rid of it from boric acid suppositories, it took like 4 months though. i think most people get rid of it though after a round or two of antibiotics, theyll probably start you on metronidiazole or metro gel
