Does not taking a shower for 5 days cause Bacterial Vaginosis?

Lately, I've been working so hard for my finals that I haven't taken a shower for around 5 days!!! I know. I know.

Does it cause Bacterial Vaginosis? or Is it just yeast infection I'm having from taking acne medication (accutane) ?

Thanks!

both vaginosis and acne are usually preventable by maintaining hygeine….but yes, many medications cause yeast infections although those are most commonly antibiotics. Yeast infections can be caused by many things, some people are also just more prone to getting them. But I do recommend showering daily, it is good for your health and will actually help you concentrate better….

Recurrent ‘Bacterial Vaginosis can be very traumatic to live with. Sometimes after taking all the creams, potions and antibiotics the problem still comes back time after time. After suffering with recurrent bacterial vaginosis (BV) for over 3 years I eventually found a totally natural cure. The claim was to be clear of bacterial vaginosis in 3 days. Imagine my delight when I found the claims to be totally true. If you have bacterial vaginosis for the first time or have had recurrent bacterial vaginosis for some time this is something you really should consider looking at Bacterial Vaginosis Help – The 3 Day Cure

I think bad hygiene can contribute to the yeast infection but maybe this site can help. Its about the acne meds and yeast infection relation.

If you've been having sex, then maybe, but otherwise, the vagina is very good at keeping it's natural flora in check without help form outside. In fact, it's better to wash only on the outside at any time. If you have a yeast infection, washing or not will not make any difference-only anti-fungals will cure it. Consult a physician, and take a shower! You'll feel fresher for studying, at least…
