Bacterial vaginosis?

Are you still looking for that fast and effective cure for Bacterial Vaginosis. If so CLICK HERE NOW! Thanks For Visiting

was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and just started taking the antibiotics today. The doctor prescribed me 500 mg, 2 a day for 7 days. I have heard that sometimes it doesn't clear the infection and also sometimes causes yeast infection. My doctor said nothing about yeast, how will i know if my infection is cleared after taking the antibiotics, or if i have formed a yeast infection. Also, has anyone had to taket his antibiotic? Any weird side effects besides NO drinking of alcohol, i know. ? ALSO: When do symptoms start to clear up whil taking the antibiotics? I'm on my second day. Also my DR, said its non transmitable and said nothing about sex, can i have sex during treatment using a condom?

Yes an antibiotic can cause a yeast infection. It feeds the candida already present in our bodies and they can overgrow. You will know if you have a yeast infection because you will start to itch in the genital area and occasionally on other parts of your body as well. You will also get a white dicharge that looks like cottage cheese.

You may need a follow up appt. with your Dr. to re-test after finishing your antibiotic to be sure the bacterial infection cleared. If after you finish it, you have the same symptoms that made you seek treatment to begin with, you should be re-tested. If you find you have the symptoms of a yeast infection you can get an over the counter medication to treat it.

Do you and your partner a favor and always use a condom, especially while you have an infection. Your own immune system is lower and you need to take the extra precaution. Not only that, if you do get a yeast infecton, you can give that to your partner and then he can pass it back to you. No fun having to be treated again, when you could have prevented it to begin with.

As for your antibiotic, read your lable or the insert that came with it for the list of possible side effects. You did not name the kind of antibiotic prescribed. If you still can't figure it out call the pharmacy where you had it filled and ask the pharmicist what to watch for as possible allergic reactions. You can have a reaction even if you have taken the same medication safely in the past. Some restrict you from exposure to sunlight due to the increased sensitivity to the sun the medication can cause. So call and ask if you don't have the insert that was sent along with it.

I constantly get vaginal bacterial infections even after being treated from the doctor. I think my body is getting immune to the antibiotics. Is there any alternativie cure out there..

If you having sex with a man … he's probably reinfecting you. It's condom time. have you tried vinegar, water and baking soda?

How can I get rid of Bacterial Vaginosis?

I thought I had a yeast infection but I don’t. I’m pretty sure if anything is wrong down there, I have bacterial vaginosis. So, can anyone tell me how to get rid of it naturally. No doc please.

Thanks!
Nothing will truly flush out or cure vaginosis without antibiotics. All natural products or home remedies only treat the symptoms, but not the disease. The thing to try to do is to stop it coming back and that is where the natural choices come. Building a better balance of bacteria within the body using probiotic drinks and natural yogurts etc.

You should go to a free clinic and they can give you antibiotics.

You should also not try to “let it run it’s course.” It’s not that kind of disease. It will only get worse and can possibly turn into pelvic inflammatory disease, or even work it’s way into your urethra and give you a UTI or kidney infection. Bone up and go to the doctor.

When it comes to bacterial vaginosis often a course of antibiotics alone will not cure the problem. the trouble with antibiotics is that they kill all the bacteria within the vagina including the good (lactobacillus) bacteria which is need to maintain a healthy vagina. usually what happens is the bacterial vaginosis will clear up only to return within a couple of weeks. this is known as recurrent bacterial vaginosis.

So what about garlic as a remedy for bacterial vaginosis. Well as we know garlic is an excellent healer. Garlic has anti fungal and antibacterial properties thats why it is used in so many health products. The best practice is to take 1 – 2 garlic capsules daily as part of your daily routine. I have spoken to many women who have found that this alone is a good way to stay free of bacterial vaginosis.

thrush or bacterial vaginosis (sorry may be tmi)?

last september i was diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease and was told i had thrush which may have caused it, i was treated for both but since after christmas its just got worse. sorry this is tmi..but im getting a lot of discharge and it smells horrible (even after a bath/shower, & i mostly notice its worse after ive had a wee), i looked this up and read it could be bacterial vaginosis? i thought the pills and creams would have helped unless it has come back? do you think i should go back to the hospital and get a second opinion and would they give me the same treatment as before or something stronger? i really need this sorted as its so uncomfortable on top of having pains from the pid, and everything else ive tried for it isnt helping =( ty

Go to the doctor, it can be very serious if not sorted. If you tap it in to the computer there is a very good site with all the info about Pelvic inflammatory disease. I know because my step daughter needed info and i looked it up for her.

Bacterial Vaginosis Facts

If you have a fishy vaginal odor which is accompanied by a gray or white watery discharge and severe irritation around the delicate tissues of the vaginal area, it is likely that you are suffering from bacterial vaginosis. This is an extremely common condition which can effect 1 in 3 women over the course of their lives, although some experts reckon that almost every woman will have had a least one mild attack.

Fortunately, natural treatment for bacterial vaginosis can be highly effective and, due to the very nature of the condition, can work much more effectively than expensive antibiotics and over the counter remedies.

Bacterial vaginosis is caused by an imbalance of the naturally occurring bacteria within the vagina. Under normal circumstances, the beneficial bacteria within the vagina keeps the harmful bacteria under control by ensuring that the pH balance is maintained at a slightly acidic level. When something happens to cause an imbalance, the harmful bacteria flourishes and causes the unpleasant symptoms of bacterial vaginosis which includes vaginal fishy odor.

The main aim of any treatment is to eliminate the harmful bacteria and restore balance and of course to get rid of vaginal fishy odor. Although antibiotics will kill off the harmful bacteria, they are unable to distinguish between beneficial and harmful bacteria and therefore kill off all bacteria. Unfortunately, once the antibiotics are finished and bacteria naturally begins to repopulate the vagina, it takes a while for the beneficial bacteria to grow strong enough to be defensive and so as soon as any bad bacteria is introduced, the whole cycle begins again. This is why over half of all women who take antibiotics for this condition have a repeat attack within a few short weeks.

natural treatment for bacterial vaginosis to eliminate vaginal fishy odor works by strengthening the body’s own defenses, enabling the good bacteria to be able to easily control any harmful strains.

One simple measure which can help to get rid of vaginal fishy odor includes using tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has powerful natural antibacterial properties and a few drops in the bath can help to kill off harmful bacteria. In addition, some women have found that using pessaries made from tea tree oil can be an excellent home remedies for bacterial vaginosis and these are available from health food stores.

Probiotic yogurt is another good home remedies for bacterial vaginosis. Simply eating a pot of live yogurt daily can help to replenish the body’s stores of beneficial bacteria. Some women find it useful to soak a tampon in the yogurt and insert it directly into the vagina for a couple of hours.

Another good natural remedy is cider vinegar. a couple of cups added to a bath of warm water can help to bring natural balance back to the vagina.
